It is said that when making a great first impression, the first five seconds are key. This tiny amount of time will create a lasting impact and forge the direction of a relationship with the students. A warm and sincere welcome gives a sense of caring and makes students feel appreciated, as well as making them feel that they have made a good choice by enrolling into the college.

Nurturing these relationships is a crucial part of growing a successful academic year – this takes time, commitment and enthusiasm. In the age of social media, it is all too easy for students to share a bad experience with potentially hundreds or even thousands of people. This is why it is more important than ever to create a welcoming, memorable and friendly experience for students so that if they face any difficulty, they open up to the college first. 

So, to provide the students this experience, Global College of Management organized Welcome program 2078 in Nepal Academy Hall on Poush 5^th. The program was a huge success and students enjoyed a lot in the event. The event was organized in two parts with a lunch break in the interval where the students and the college staff participated as one big family. The students of grade XII gave welcome to the grade XI students in an informal event through singing and dancing performances. The welcome program was a great platform for students to showcase their talent in front of large crowd. In summary the event was a huge success. GCM family looks forward towards next years welcome program as this year’s event was a total blast.
