Durga Bahadur Ale

Mr. Ale is an educational enthusiast working in this field with his pursuit of serving the nation as a teacher, textbook writer, curriculum designer, trainer (National Education Board), and administrator. Ever since he graduated from Tribhuvan University (TU), he has been working in different institutions of Kavre Palanchwok district and Kathmandu Valley. He has been in this for more than eighteen years.

Biography

He was born in a western village of Gulmi district and has currently made Duwakot, Bhaktapur as his permanent hometown. He completed his Master's in Sociology M.A.in 2004 and Master's in Curriculum and Evaluation M.Ed. in 2008 from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. 

As a professional teacher, he started his career as a secondary level social Studies teacher in 2002 AD. He started teaching in college and University level after his master degree. He worked for Canvas Boarding School, Kathmandu, at the beginning of his professional career. He served as a campus chief in the College of National Academic Square, Kathmandu for two years. 

He has attended several training sessions on curriculum planning, textbook writing, and Social Studies subject teaching organized by different governmental and non-governmental organizations, and he has also participated in the leadership training sessions conducted by SOS National Training Centre Nepal. 

He is keen on reading and writing. One of the best choices in reading is 'Mother' of Maxim Gorky. When he gets free time, traveling to new places with his friends always comes as his first preference. 

 He is much fascinated and motivated by his mother's journey and the struggle for which he complements as his life objectives. He has a wife with a son and daughter.
