MANI RATNA LAMSAL, (M. A.) 

Faculty of Economics/Researcher/Writer

For over 15 years, Mani Ratna Lamsal has been an exemplary Economics teacher at different colleges in Kathmandu. You may know him best from his work in the teaching faculty of Economics (ECO-3031/ECO-3041) at the Global College of Management (GCM) for the last ten years. Moreover, Mani Ratna has involved himself in academic research; textbook writing of Economics for Grade XI, and Grade XII as well as for bachelor level, and teacher training in Economics. His areas of research interest are in the field of macroeconomic effects in the Nepalese economy. Mani Ratna has been honored with the Excellent Teacher Award for his outstanding academic contributions to the Global College of Management (GCM) continuously for the last seven years. He holds a Master of Arts (M. A.) in Economics in first division from the Central Department of Economics (CEDECON), Tribhuvan University. He is also a Ph.D. Scholar in Macroeconomics.  He was born in Syangja, permanently from Bhirahawa, Rupandehi, Lumbini Province and currently resides in Kathmandu.

  1. Research Articles: Four Research articles, including one Book Review, are published in the Journals of Patan Multiple Campus (Tribhuvan University), Global College International (GCI), and Global College of Management (GCM).

  • Participated in two days International Conference organized by the Uniglobe College, Kathmandu, (Pokhara University), provided by Prof.  Dr. Radhe Shyam Pradhan, held on June 6 and 7, 2012.
  • Participated in two days’ Workshop / Conference organized by Little Angels' College, Lalitpur,   Provided by Prof.  Dr.Volker Kleinn of Zurich University, Switzerland, held on July 26 and 27, 2009.
