Tirtha Raj Siwakoti

Lecturer

 Mr. Siwakoti is an education enthusiast working in this field with his immense desire of serving the nation as a teacher. Ever since he graduated from T.U, he had been already working for more than 6 years in different educational institutions of the Kathmandu valley.

Biography

Mr. Siwakoti was born in rural part of Jhapa district located in the eastern Tarai of Nepal. After the completion of school education, he joined Damak Multiple Campus (located at Damak) to fulfill the aim of higher education. In 2010 AD, he completed his bachelor degree from Pashupati Multiple campus, Chabahil, Kathmandu. He posts graduated from central department of English (MA English) TU Kirtipur in 2012 AD and One Year B. Ed from Ratna Shikshya Campus (Koteshwor) in 2013 AD. Furthermore, to attain multidisciplinary course of master degree, he joined College of Development Studies (Mdevs) and got opportunity to explore and understand the different dimensions related to most debated concept of development. 

As a professional teacher, he started his career as a lower secondary English and Social Studies teacher. He taught both English and social studies of secondary level in different schools of Kathmandu valley more than 10 years. Along with teaching, he served as subject head, academic head, school coordinator and vice principal in his professional career. Currently, he has been working as head of department of Social Studies and Life Skill Education at Liverpool international college (Naya Baneshwor, KTM) in morning shift and as a faculty of Social Studies and Life Skill Education in Global College of Management (Purano Baneshwor, KTM) in day shift.

  • M.A in English Literature and Development Studies

Teaching Experiences 

  • Social studies and English teacher of school since 2006 AD to 2015 AD.
  • Lecturer of Compulsory English I & II for Grades 11& 12 since 2016 AD to 2019 AD.
  • Lecture of social studies and life skill education for Grade 11 and 12 since 2019 AD.
